Let's give our tribute to Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary today

Today we are celebrating the 121st birth anniversary of Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Bose. Neta Ji was one of the most prominent leaders in the Indian independence movement and is a legendary figure and well-known personality in the Indian history. Subhas Chandra Bose is affectionately called "Netaji", who is known for his intelligence, bravery, supreme sacrifice and his role in the freedom struggle of the country. Contrary to non-violence thinking of many of the leaders of Indian's struggle for freedom, he founded Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj) to overthrow the British ruling and came to acquire legendary status among Indian masses. Even our social media is paying tribute to Neta Ji with sharing his famous sayings and thoughts. It's our responsibility to let our kids know about him and how he participated in India's struggle for freedom.

It is worth remembering him today and his famous quotes who used to fill people with so much courage and love of our country: 

1. Freedom is not given - it is taken.

 2. Give me blood and I will give you freedom!

 3.The secret of political bargaining is to look more strong than what you really are.

 4. We should have but one desire today - the desire to die so that India may live.

 5. Never lose your faith in the destiny of India. There is no power on the earth that can keep India in bondage.India will be free, that too, soon.

 6.Forget not that the grossest crime is to compromise with injustice and wrong.Remember the eternal law: You must give if you want to get.

7. One individual may die for an idea, but that idea will, after his death, incarnate itself in a thousand lives.

 8. It is our duty to pay for our liberty with our own blood. The freedom that we shall win through our sacrifice and exertions, we shall be able to preserve with our own strength.

 9. At this unprecedented juncture in our history, I have a word for you. Do not be disheartened by our temporary defeat; be cheerful and optimistic. Above all, never lose your faith in the destiny of India. There is no power on earth which can keep India in bondage. India will be free and, that too, soon. "JAl-HIND" !

 10.India is calling. Blood is calling for blood. Get up, we have no time to lose. Take up your arms! we shall carve our way through the enemy's ranks, or if God wills, we shall die a martyr's death. And in our last sleep, we shall kiss the road that will bring our Army to Delhi. The road to Delhi is the road to Freedom. "Chalo Delli"!

As we entered 2020, through this post I am trying to contemplate the coolest, most daring, and most significant feats of my life during the last decade. Cheap vs.Expensive Bottled Water-The Cost of What is Free & Essential

If I ask you when you last bought packaged drinking water last, I am sure you would not count it from long ago. Obviously, because gone are the days when we used to count water as a free goodie from nature for all of us. We now buy this essential for life thing in various amount as per our needs.  Be it a shopping mall or an amusement park, hospital or restaurant, travel time or even at home we pay for our drinking water. During Durgapuja festival I had to buy drinking water from many places which made me notice how the price of the same drinking water changes from one shop to another. Buying a one-liter bottle of a reliable brand from a general store cost me Rs. 20, while the same brand bottle of an equal amount of water filled inside a pizza hut store cost me RS. 50 on the same day. Vibhu and Web Series - Gullak is a cheering story

After watching Panchayat , I was again on a hunt for another web series that Vibhu (my 7-year-old boy) can also enjoy. Luckily I found one. It was again a neat and uncomplicated one. No abusive language, no inappropriate talks, and full of comedy, it was really fun to watch " Gullak " with Vibhu. Set in a small town in North India, this web series is about a middle-class Mishra family and their day-to-day struggles. Being a 90s kid, I have seen the craze for clay piggy banks, typically called Gullak. Be it any fair or festival, buying a clay piggy bank was a custom in families of North India (UP) during the early 90s. The Series is named Gullak as in the show, a clay piggy bank, is the narrator of the plot. The Mishra family includes a giving husband, Santosh Mishra; a sarcastically speaking wife, Shanti Mishra; and their two sons.
