#MagicOfWarmth Kabhi-Kabhi pas aane ke liye..door jana hota hai!

“I’m blogging about my #MagicOfWarmth moment at BlogAdda in association with Parachute Advansed Hot Oil

I once read that the best way to spell love is “T.I.M.E”. Unfortunately, time is something that many of us hard to find. Whether it's the time to spend with family or with kids, or with friends. Because of today’s fast lives, we live in a stressful and busy world where many of us are juggling full-time careers with looking after a family and home. However, we are informed people and many of us now recognize the importance of taking care of our mental and physical health. So we are also trying to squeeze in time for work-out routine and relaxation into our overstretched lives. But what about our relationship health? It doesn’t need any supporting fact to recognize that vacations improves family bonding and hence relationships. But there is certainly something to the mention that spending time together as a family, away from the stresses of the daily routine of work, office and domestic life, can make us all happier. At least for a while!

In mid of last year, I (with my family ) got a chance to refresh my family and personal lives with enjoying a full week's vacation in Monsoon capital of India “Pune”. We went to a family friend's place there and the first time I realized that a bit of TLC is needed in every relationship to keep it harmonious. Scientist says humans are pre-programmed to love green spaces of nature. There is something really special about being in nature; something magical that calms the depths of our souls like nothing else. Really, with so much greenery and good weather, our Pune visit was awesomely wonderful. I even regretted that we live in Delhi. Seeing those greenery coated mountains and waterfalls, I am in love with Pune. Roaming around in drizzling rain and enjoying the best of nature’s presence along with good friends, what can be better than that? Our visit included many place around Pune including beautiful Lavasa and Khandala.

While going with the usual flow of life, we often neglect the importance of relationships. And time is essential for every relationship to both survive and shine. When we spend time with family and friends, it demonstrates our priorities in life. It shows our loved ones that they really matter and that being with them is meaningful to us. But unfortunately, we all only have 24 hours a day and 7 days a week so the only way to make more time for our relationships is to have a complete breakaway.

Thanks to my husband who realized that we, husband-wife, badly needed that 'us' time and he planned this wonderful break for me. We both are working and after having a naughty baby at home, we needed this magic of warmth to find our love back. Life had become usual and boring. And this vacation brought a huge change in our lives. “It’s quality, not quantity that counts”. And this is never truer than when we talk about time with our partner. Spending a week’s time, when we, husband-wife, had more reasons to laugh, enjoy and memorize, has made us recall our best of qualities which we normally ignore while balancing our routine office and family lives. True is that "Kabhi-Kabhi pas aane ke liye..door jana hota hai! " (Sometimes going far, gets people closer) With this almost 1200 km long journey, I have come close to both the friends' families who were with us in Pune. And worth mentioning, I have come closer to my husband! This was #MagicOfWarmth moment of us.

Have a look at this video. This will really prove that relationships can get it's charm back with just a little warmth :

My 'Invisible' Accomplishments #DecadeHop #RRxMM

As we entered 2020, through this post I am trying to contemplate the coolest, most daring, and most significant feats of my life during the last decade. Now the more I regress my memory, the more I feel there are two types of achievements or accomplishments that I can ponder upon; Visible and Invisible. Visible ones are those that I can count on my finger like a parrot and others can nod also. I got specs on, married to a not-so-romantic man, produced a baby, started writing and added good 17 kgs in my body volume (I was 50 in 2011). However, there are many invisible accomplishments too that either I know silently or very few can assert. From 2011 to 2019, Who am I now From a coy soul to now an outspoken woman, the trek was not easy. I achieved it. From being a no-makeup girl to now a lipstick swatches observer, the transition was tough. But it happened. And from being a sweet hater to now a sweet lover, the change was mysterious yet occurred. And now I can die for Gulab Jamuns....

Vibhu and Web Series - First web series that we enjoyed together

Television has been our biggest medium of entertainment for long. However, with the evolution of the internet, the monopoly broke and people started looking for a new kind of fun through the internet. Social media is one such kind of source of refreshment. Then we witnessed how slowly OTT platforms established their roots in our country and web series became the most-watched content among people of the new generation. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar are few very popular platforms that took over the digital space like a storm.  Then Covid happened. We all were at home and those who had internet access lapped up multiple  web series  on OTT platforms. With lockdown outside, it was binge-watching; nonstop, morning, day, and night. That further accelerated the growth and business of the OTT platforms like hell.  I am also one such person who got caught by web series fever during the first lockdown time. I was on maternity break and totally mad because of postpartum bugs. ...

A Quote That Changed My Life

The very thought of being away from my son all day long sometimes makes me feel low. Being a working woman, I seldom feel that my responsibilities as a mother remain overlooked. The talks of some non-working friends & family ladies add more to this worry of mine. Some of them never worked and many of them had to leave their jobs in order to fulfill the responsibility as a mother. My life often takes me to the thought of becoming a homemaker so that I can stay at home all the time for my son. However, at the same moment, I also realize my responsibility towards my family which includes my in-laws and my aging parents who need financial support from me. My role of being a working woman allows me to share the financial responsibilities of my husband. I have worked against all odds to make a career. So, how can I abandon all this? But should I not take better care of my family? When my boys was an infant, I saw him playing and enjoying with the family living in my neighborhood. He...
